Clinical Emergency Radiology 9780511551734 Medicine Health Science Books Reviews
A great reference for the emergency department. In a field where we are expected to understand and incorporate a multitude of imaging modalities, many of which we must read ourselves, there is a surprising lack of reference material. This book fills that gap.
This book is loaded with CT, ultrasound, MRI, and plain radiograph images. It's a great reference book to have in the department. I'd say this is an essential text for both junior and senior emergency residents learning how to read CTs, plain films, and MRIs. It's edited by Chris Fox, one of the most famous people around in emergency ultrasound. This is an outstanding book.
A must have reference for emergency clinicians. This text provides a complete pictorial catalog of relevant emergency imaging and the accompanying well written text makes learning straightforward. Whether you are reviewing plain radiographs, CT, MRI or ultrasound this text is for you.
Kudos to Dr. Chris Fox and colleagues for authoring this comprehensive and relevant emergency reference.
In a field where we are forced to have a working understanding of the ever-expanding realm of medical knowledge, this text provides ER docs with the necessary tools to approach a broad spectrum of imaging modalities. This book is remarkable for three reasons 1) It is a great resource for students and residents as they develop their knowledge base. 2) A 'must-have' in the ED for a quick reference on any study you could even think of ordering. 3) Truly a one of a kind offering- I can't believe no one else thought of this.
